We operate through a network of over 300 Foster Carers and Volunteers.

Our life-changing work can only continue with the ongoing support of our volunteers, wider community, sponsors and everyday people — like you!

Volunteer

Whether you have skills in IT, admin, handywork, need experience for tertiary studies, can help organise fundraising and events, or just love handing out cuddles, we need you! We are also seeking people to help with animal transport, home checks and other animal related services. For example, qualified Vets and Vet Nurses and people experienced with horse grooming or horse dental work. Get in touch and we will find the perfect area for you.

Foster

Fostering an animal in need is incredibly rewarding. By fostering a homeless pet, they are able to be effectively rehabilitated in a nurturing, everyday environment. Animals receive the care they need, and the love they deserve. If you are interested in learning more about what it takes to be a Foster Carer, get in touch.

Property maintenance

Our Southern River and Bullsbrook properties are overflow facilities where we place all animals unable to be fostered immediately. Both properties require considerable upkeep so we can keep our animals safe. If you are able to help with any of the following, please get in touch. Dog walking, gardening, lawn maintenance, tree lopping, fencing, and handywork.

“Tiga became my life.

I adopted my beautiful boy three years ago. I went to Foster Carer Jess’ home, and when he snuggled into me, I knew he was mine. Once I took Tiga home, he became my life. With so many different personalities, Tiga has turned out to be the most loveable, cuddly cat. He won’t go to bed until I go, gives me a cuddle, sleeps up the end of the bed, and even gets in the shower with me! My landlord calls Tiga ‘sticky beak’ — he has to be in everything that you do.

I would never part with my boy for all the money in the world. Anyone looking to rescue an animal should adopt from SAFE Perth - Saving Perth Animals from Euthanasia”.
