This is pretty Ana
Ana is a very cute, compact little tabby/tortie girl. She has short legs and a round face so is possible she may have some British Shorthair in her. She was trapped at a company and came into our care. Ana was very scared and would freeze and if you got too close she would run. She has come such a long way now.
On day 16 in a foster home (Aug22) she showed signs of enjoying a head and neck scratch and even started to purr for the first time. Two weeks on you can see how she has progressed so much https://youtu.be/idgErgW_6eU.
Ana is used to the other cats in her foster home. She now sits near the others waiting for soft food to be served. Ana continues to make progress. She really does love the head and neck scratched but her uncertainty of people leaves her cautious.
Do you think you are the right person to take her on and give her time and space to come around? If so you will be rewarded with more trust from her over time and it is wonderful when that happens.
Will she end up on the bed or lounge with you? Maybe one day. You need to be prepared that it might take a very long time or potentially not at all. Ana needs to be a complete indoor cat as will run and not come back if let out. A quiet home with a single person or couple is best. She has the odd moments where she rolls over on the ground when relaxed and also plays with toys.
If you have a confident affectionate cat already they may help her come around sooner.
Please consider adopting or fostering little Ana, she would love to be part of your family.
