Mumma Flo

Mumma Flo came to us all the way from Laverton. She showed up to a mine site with her 6 kittens. And luckily enough she found the most amazing people who were willing to work with her and her babies.

Not even a week later of being at the mine site and they were all on a flight to Perth to start their new lives.

They came straight to me and I started working with them showing them that humans are not scary.

Florence is most defiantly a special case. She will appear to be scared at first, may even hide for the first few days, although over time with patience, yummy food and love and she will be purring loudly and rubbing against you showing you her utmost love she has for you.

She may never be a cuddly lap cat, but she will show you love in other ways. She also loves to play, which is beautiful to see, as Florence had no idea how to play with toys when she first came to me.

She is currently housed by herself, so I am unsure how she will go with other cats, although she was wonderful with her kittens. Maybe with a slow introduction she could be housed with a cat.

She has met my dogs and has hissed at them. However, has never gotten extremely close contact with them.

I would say she would better with older kids, who will respect her space and let her come to them. My kids have been in with her and she just hides from them.

I would love to find Florence her forever home where she can be happy and loved. She deserves her happy ever after, after living on the streets for at least a year and bringing up her kittens. She has done so well and now deserves to be a cat where she can snuggle up on a cosy bed.
