Handsome Watson
This ever-so-handsome lad may look big and tough, but in reality is just a big squishy marshmallow who will do anything for a cuddle. Whenever his human is near, Watson flops and rolls around trying to get their attention, he knows that showing his big fluffy belly, stretching and purring are his best chance at getting the smooches he loves!
Always up for a chat and a chirp, this charismatic critter will win you over in no time at all. He is happiest getting pats, being picked up and cuddled, or flopped on top of you on the couch or in bed. For Watson, smooching isn’t an occasional treat, it’s a way of life!
Perfectly litter-trained and a religious user of his scratching post, Watson is a perfectly behaved housemate. He loves being around other cats and is currently in foster care with the adorable little poppet called Trixie. If you are looking to adopt a pair, they are a hilarious match. Watson could be an only cat, as long as his human is able to give him all the love and attention he deserves when they are at home.
Watson’s only vice is that he loves cuddles and pats too much. Sometimes, when he is enjoying himself and is overstimulated by human attention he will give a small “love bite”. In the first two weeks of being in foster care and being desexed, this behaviour has decreased significantly, and we suspect that with further training and time, this will become much less of a problem.
Watson’s foster carers say he is one of the smoochiest cats they have ever met. Whoever is lucky enough to adopt him is guaranteed a lifetime of love, endless snuggling and a new best friend.
